Heard the news today. Garcia no longer with the team.
In my despair and disappointment of being faced with the end of my favorite coach/quarterback relationship of all time, my mind immediately went to this.
Of course, perhaps it's an omen for Garcia. Both Joe Namath and Kenny Stabler were once kicked off of their college teams. And, as I understand it, they all had similar off-field lifestyle choices.
Let's hope we meet again, Stephen.
